Review: 'Best Kind of Broken' should be a straight forward boy-meets-girl, childhood sweethearts love story, but it's blighted by tragedy and sadness which rips the main characters - almost irrevocably - apart. Chelsea Fine takes the reader through their journey as Pixie and Levi try to find their way back to each other in the wake of utter horror. A situation which is forced upon them by their newly-found, uncomfortable living situation. The more I read, the more I came to love the characters and the more I learnt about them, the more obvious it was that they were meant for each other. The ending was lovely, and I get the feeling that snippets of their future might pop up in subsequent books.

Review: I am a big fan of Brenda Whiteside and really enjoyed her first book 'The Art of Love and Murder' so I was very excited to read her new book and it does not disappoint! The story is complex and the twists and turns are very unexpected. I don't think it's like anything else within the same genre and that's what makes it stand out from the crowd. If you like romance, mystery, thriller...or just something a little different, then I strongly recommend this book!

Review: 'Trust No One' is an amazing new romance suspense novel by Jayne Ann Krentz. As always, her characters are relatable, and very believable. As the twisted plot becomes more in-depth and complex, the book became much more difficult to put down. I think this book was a lot like the authors early work, which made me enjoy it all the more.

In the first three books KC was a minor, mysterious character that seemed to make bizarre decisions with no reasonable explanation. In this book, her characteristics become much more clear as you learn her heartbreaking past - and present. Jax has also had it difficult and it's this struggle that makes them so perfect together. Although, it definitely isn't a smooth ride. This book is an amazing read, utterly gripping! I couldn't wait to finish it, but I didn't want it to end...

Review: The Death Season is number 19 in the Wesley Peterson mystery books. I haven't yet read any of the others, but that didn't ruin this one at all! There were references to previous stories, but nothing that made it difficult to follow the plot. This murder case starts off as a straight forward homicide, but slowly becomes more and more complex with new twists and turns on every page. There is also a set of flashbacks relating to another mystery from the past which slowly weaves in and out of the plot, making it that much more gripping. I was sucked in from the very first page and couldn't put the book down until I had finished it! I tried to guess the outcome constantly throughout the book, but the conclusion still took me by surprise! Looks like I have 18 new books on my 'to read' list...

Review: Pool of Echoes is a fast-paced thriller filled with amazingly complex characters who drag you into their world and don't want to let you go. Once I started to read this book, I couldn't put it down. David G. Allen has an amazing way with words and I can't wait to read more of his work.
