Family Reunion
Winter of Zombie 2015 SPOTLIGHT ON: P. Mark DeBryan
What is your latest zombie release?
Family Reunion
Quick description of it (no spoilers)
The story follows a large family heading to a reunion during the beginning of a pandemic that turns into a zombie like apocalypse. They are all from different locations throughout the country. These are not highly skilled special operators, and they are not young or in excellent physical condition. The Brant family consists of seven siblings, the youngest, Ryan, finds himself surrounded by crazed psychos that are feeding on his fellow ferry passengers. From here the story chronicles the siblings and their extended family’s efforts to get to the reunion.
Something unique about it.
One of the cousins, Maddie, is headed to the reunion in a luxury motor coach that her husband is delivering to a wealthy client. The client is a prepper, and the coach, while luxurious, is equipped with many special features. The coach is built by Marathon Coach and is authentic, the company assisted with the research for the book and assured me that everything we did with the coach is possible with today’s technology.

Your short Bio.
Mark has always been a bit of a vagabond. Born in Washington, raised in California, he joined the Coast Guard after high school. His first assignment after boot camp was as the driver for the admiral of PACAREA in San Francisco. After a short stay working at a LORAN station, he went for a cruise on a 378´ cutter in the Bering Sea, then onto aviation where he was a crewman of both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft in Texas. After the Coast Guard, he worked security, first guarding the MX nuclear missile, then at a nuclear power plant in California. Eventually he went to college in Wisconsin, only to drop out after meeting his future wife. He went on to finish college at 36 and to own a Miracle Ear franchise. He went into publishing for a short time before becoming an Information Systems Specialist. He currently splits his time between West (by God) Virginia and Surfside Beach, SC
