What is your latest zombie release?
My latest release is also my first full length release titled “This Dying World: The End Begins”
Quick description of it (no spoilers)
This Dying World: The End Begins is a story of a man, Dan Foster, who is desperately trying to save his family from the newly risen dead. This story chronicles his family’s journey across the frozen Midwest towards what he hopes to be safety for his loved ones.
Dan finds himself surrounded by a diverse group of characters from a good natured but fiery nurse to a tomboy sharpshooter. Although told primarily through Dan’s perspective, readers have the opportunity to go inside the minds of other characters – some good, some not – as they also try to survive the beginnings of the zombie onslaught.
Something unique about it.
Dan is not a superman by any stretch. Nor is he Rambo, James Bond, or even Homer Simpson for that matter. He is an everyday guy who you would pass on the street and forget about within a couple steps. He’s a natural smart ass, and often uses humor to try and diffuse stressful situations. In most cases, the jokes are inappropriate and poorly timed for his wife, Abby.
This is the story of just a regular guy whose only survival skills come from late night horror movies and pure instinct to protect his family. Using humor throughout the book despite the dark circumstances makes this story stand out.

Author Bio
James Dean was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1975. He earned his Emergency Medical Technician license, serving for 3 years before returning to school to earn a AAS degree in electronics technology. He has worked in the technology field for 15 years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. He currently lives in a suburb of Chicago with his wife and kids.
James has always been interested in writing, penning his first very short story in 4th grade. He’s written several short stories over the years, from horror to sword and sorcery genres. But he gave up writing for several years until he discovered the world of indie authors, thanks to people like Mark Tufo and Eric Shelman. James was once again bitten by the writing bug, which has led to his first full length novel, This Dying World: The End Begins.
