Quick description of it (no spoilers)Things have gone horribly wrong for Al and the world as we know it. The Alpha Project arises as a possible solution, but quickly becomes a dangerous prospect and a one way trip to hell for Al and everyone involved. Caught in the crossfires of an ethical and moral nightmare, Al tries to maintain the few strands of sanity he has left. With no one to turn to and so much on the line, he makes friends with another man who’s also on the edge. When changes that neither of them fully understands, shreds the connection that they’ve built, one of them will find themselves in a heart-stopping dance with a monster.
Something unique about it.
This book takes you to the beginning of my zom poc, but it doesn’t travel the usual path. My virus is not an accident.
It’s a last ditch effort by a few well-meaning scientists to prepare humanity for a deadly environmental change.
I’m a poet turned fiction writer, who also happens to be an avid reader and lover of the macabre.
I own a ridiculously large library of horror films and think that the more obscure, the better. When I’m not reading or writing something, I’m generally out in search of crazy adventures with my husband. Our favorite places are the ones with good people, good beer and good chances to commune with nature (see skinny dipping).
In life and in my work, I’m always trying to better understand the magical thing that is the human condition.
